I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

Memo to Al Gore

July 4th 2007 16:02
Dear Al:

I just heard about your son being arrested for drunk driving. I also heard he had drugs in the vehicle. The news report didn't sprcify what kind of car he was driving (drunk), but since he was going 100 mph when he was clocked by the authorities, I assume it wasn't one of the little hybrids or an electric car.

Shame on you, Al, for not teaching your son to be careful of his "carbon footprints!" Imagine all the fuel he used in driving so fast (and drunk). You'll have to pay a fortune in "carbon offsets" now. You could send me some money and I'll plant a few more trees. That should fix the problem!

I guess Junior believes in the 'Do as I say, not do as I do' philosophy.

I like your thinking and your attempt to call out Little Gore, but he was driving a Prius (pretty good on gas usage). Your point is still valid in that driving it so fast would waste fuel. And Big Gore still has provided plenty of ammunition to show his shameless hypocrisy.

I like your perspective and may have to check out your blog more often, though. I'm a (VERY) disgruntled conservative.

Hello Pop.Con. Glad you stopped by! I'm a bit disgruntled myself, especially over the new amnesty bill (that finally failed!) Stop by any time!

The scamnesty bill tells me a lot about Washington. They are now actively working against the American people. And I'm talking about both parties. We are absolutely owned by big business at this point. It took a revolt of epic proportions to head off the complete sell-off of our country on the immigration bill. My cousin was killed by an illegal immigrant about three weeks ago in south Georgia. I called my Senators and told them that her blood is on their hands and on the hands of our idiot president (who I actually voted for twice).

With that being said, I am definitely a conservative -- unlike many of the gasbags who currently inhabit the Republican Party. And Dems, well, Dems are just clueless and useless (with the exception of a couple like Byron Dorgan and maybe Ben Nelson).

God help us. We're gonna need it.

Who are you liking in '08? I like Duncan Hunter, but I doubt he can win. Fred Thompson is looking like a real possibility. When push comes to shove, though, I'm pretty much in the ABH (anybody but hillary) camp.

I voted for Bush, too, and until the "scamnesty" business, I pretty much agreed with him.
Duncan Hunter is a very good candidate, but I must agree that he doesn't stand much of a chance. Thompson, on the other hand, has the recognition and therefore a much better chance. Not to mention my vote. Check out my blogs titled "Billary" if you want to know what I think of her.

It'll be a sad day if we find Shrillary flying around the US on Broomstick One making the important decisions for this country. She'll inspire a lot of "broken glass Republicans" to come out and vote, though, so I hope that won't happen. Those are folks who would crawl across broken glass just to vote against the Hillamonster.
