I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

The Best Man For The Job

February 2nd 2008 16:15
I have been accused of supporting almost everyone but Hillary and Barak in the current election cycle. Until today I was unwilling to voice my support of any candidate, hoping that the best man for the job would get more publicity and become a more likely option. Honestly, until recently, I didn't even know he was running. The mainstream media hasn't given him five seconds of air time (as usual) and he probably doesn't have a chance of being elected.

Why do I consider him the best candidate? Lots of reasons! He has a PhD in Government, he has been an ambassador, he has been in charge of many endeavors that qualify him to lead. His conservative credentials are impeccable and his integrity is unquestioned. He is a strict believer in the Constitution and an expert on the subject. Who is he? Alan Keyes, that's who.

Considering the other possible presidents and their credentials, I can't vote for any of them with a completely clear conscience. Even Mitt Romney has a few things against him as far as being a true conservative goes. It's quite clear that a vote for anyone who isn't likely to win would be giving the election to the Democrats (or to John McCain, which isn't much better.) That being said, my vote will be going to Alan Keyes as a vote of conscience.

He is absolutely the best man for the job!

If I remember right, Alan Keyes is part of the old Ayn Rand, "Objectivist" set. Another one of them is former Fed Chief Alan Greenspan. Basically, they get excited about war and anarchy, since then the "coddled masses that are protected by Mother Nation-State" can be exposed to the "survival of the fittest." Not a pretty picture, I assure you.

I have yet to hear Alan Keyes say anything in support of anarchy. He is in favor of the War on Terror since it is damaging to the free world. His expertise in government and background in politics make him a much better candidate than anyone else running. He understands the values on which this country was built and supports the Consitiution. Neither Hillary, Obama, or McCain can say that. Mitt Romney can say it, but not on every issue.

Keyes is a dogmatic theocrat that would be even more dangerous than Huck-a-who.

He'd only be dangerous to those who want to change the Constitution and give America away to the highest bidder, Jeff. Don't you find it confusing to be so anti-Christian while saying very little against Islam as it allows wholesale murder? Or do you agree with Rosie O'Donnell that Christianity is more dangerous than the terrorists?
