I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... As Easy As ABC?

June 24th 2009 12:33
ABC, NBC and CBS used to be respected news media. They have flushed themselves down the B.O. (B.S.) toilet and disgraced themselves in the eyes of the American public. ABC has now gone a step further and proven that they are deeply embedded in the hip pocket of the new president. Good place for them, too, it's much more convenient for their everlasting kisses.

ABC should formally change it's name to the All Barry Company. They're having a love-fest for his new "health care" plan. They have been granted permission to present only his side and his ideas and to spend "quality" time with him in the White House. No opposing views or ideas will be allowed. Freedom of the press used to mean something...

During a one hour "press conference", B.O. (B.S.) only "answered" 13 questions, most of which were very soft and some pre-arranged. Only FNC's Major Garret asked a real question. B.O. (B.S.) even allowed a question (scripted) from a blogger from the ultra liberal Huffington Post. Beyond the fact that this turkey can't think on his feet and isn't capable of public speaking without his precious teleprompter, the media keeps making his inadequacies possible. They never ask the hard questions, not that he'd tell the truth or give a real answer, and they keep slobbering and drooling all over him at every turn. He's getting away with wrecking our economy and the MSM is his accomplice.

If you give a rats behind about the truth or hearing both sides of an issue, the only place to go is Fox News Channel. Maybe that's why Fox has better ratings and more respect. Ya think?

Fox News is very biased, too, but they are more in line with my views. And at least they offer an alternative view. I've never known the other networks to be considered respected news media, though. For as long as I've been following news, they've been shamelessly biased.

I watched the first Today Show, PopCon! Back when TV was new, the news was well researched and presented by actual journalists. Huntley and Brinkley, Walter Cronkite, Edward R. Murrow... they were trusted to give the story to their audiences. The news started to get warped during the 60's and 70's, but it really went down the toilet in the 90's when CNN became the Clinton News Network. These days, if it wasn't for Fox, nobody would get any real news. Like you said, they present both sides.

S.L,

At least PopCon is honest....

Fox news is not the center of the universe....you guys who claim to be "conservative" need to be tolerant of other views. You need to debate them on the merits, not simply dismiss them in simplistic terms...this is not grade school....what is written has implications.

As for this "healthcare debate", they are a business and they have a right to refuse service to anyone. Fox News had 8 years of exclusive access to the white house. Now they're being crybabies.....

Those of us who watch FNC do so because we're sick of the slobbering and drooling of the MSM, Mike. I don't need to hear the views of someone I already know to be wrong. Fox presents both sides of the issues and has as many liberals as it does conservatives. The other networks can't say that, can they? I don't need to step in a steaming pile of doggy delight every day to be reminded that it's nasty. I make every effort to avoid it. Have you ever wondered why Fox is the leading news channel? There's a good reason for it! Just like the pathetically low ratings of the MSM happen for a very good reason.

FNC is the only news channel I trust to give me the unbiased news, they have conservative hosts, but at least you get to hear both sides of the argument. MSM only gives one side and it is so slanted that everything just slides off the end.

Anybody that is interested in the truth should at least give FNC a listen, I have been to busy to pay attention to much of any thing, I have to many irons in the fire, but Fox I can count on them when I have time to tell me the whole truth without liberal biased views.

Being a hardcore news junkie, Lester, I have it on pretty much all the time. Either that or talk radio. I'd be lost without it.
