The Shrinking Field

As of today, two more presidential hopefuls will be bowing out. Rudy Giuliani on the Republican side and John Edwards on the Democrat side. With the choices getting fewer, the votes for those remaining should go up dramatically.
As I've said before, McCain is so busy being friendly to the libs/dems that no real conservative would want to vote for him. His own mother said that the people would have to "hold their noses" to cast their votes for him. It's a sad state of affairs when a R.I.N.O. like McCain has such a good shot at the Oval Office while the real conservatives are dropping out of the race. According to Dick Morris, Romney doesn't have much of a chance of getting elected, and he may well be right.
So what are we left with? The ultra liberal Billary and Obama or the way-too liberal, McCain. Sort of like chosing between garbage that reeks or merely stinks to high heaven, huh? Personally, I think McCain should have just switched parties formally and gotten it over with!
I'm sure the libs/dems will be delighted with their candidate, whichever it turns out to be, running against McCain. Not all Republicans will be willing to "hold their noses" while casting their votes and many will refuse to vote for a candidate they can't trust (like McCain). So unless Mitt Romney does incredibly well on Super Tuesday and afterwards, the Republican candidate will surely be McCain. Logically, the outcome of the final leg of the race will be that Billary or Obama will be elected and the libs/dems will be jumping for joy.
The "new, progressive" government will undoubtedly raise taxes, fail in all their campaign promises (as usual), and leave most of the country wondering what happened. Those of us who pay attention, of course, won't have to wonder. We know...

All in all though it doesn't matter as GWBs tax cuts only help the rich so it's a drop in the ocean really.

The tax cuts helped more than just "the rich", Anonymous. If a businessman keeps more of his tax money, he hires people which boosts the economy. Next time you're looking for a job, who will you be asking? A businessman who has benefitted from tax cuts and is hiring? Or some dude (or dudette) on welfare that is using tax dollars rather than work? Think about it.
