I am highly opinionated with a firm grip on the difference between right and wrong. I pay more attention to the candidates and the issues than to precise party lines. My facts are just that... FACTS- and my opinions are MY opinions- Regardless of what the subject, you can always find a good read on my blog, I write about various issues and not everything is focused on the subject of politics. I hope you enjoy!

After it Rains Money, Look Out for the Tax Rainbow

February 23rd 2009 13:43
Besides causing problems so they can "fix" them, the Democrats are noted for pouring money all over the place and then trying to clean up the mess with new taxes. It must be really strange to wake up every day to a whole new world that has no history! Nobody remembers the election, do they? Does anyone recall B.O. (B.S.) talking about "tax cuts" and how he was going to "save the economy"? He was so confident, read his teleprompter lines so perfectly, that some people actually thought he meant it! History has proven that wasting money and raising taxes never works, but who cared about history and economic facts when B.O. (B.S.) was waxing eloquent?

A spoonful at a time, the truth of the porkulus is coming out. We don't know the whole thing yet... the worst of it will probably be a complete surprise when it gets sprung on us as the weeks, months or years go by. What we do know, is that the Democrats are getting their rainbow right away, in the form of higher taxes. While still basking in the glow of the wonderful $13 a week "tax cuts" we will shortly be facing the real agenda of tax increases. It won't be the piddly $13, either. These new taxes will rise to the billions very quickly so that B.O. (B.S.) can cut the national debt in half! A national debt that his insane plans have caused.

Have you noticed how his grandiose ideas have been toned down? Remember how he was gonna save us all and bring new "ethics" and "transparency" into government? Remember how he promised to work with Republicans on the problems of the day to find "bi-partisan" solutions? "Yes we can" has become "we can try". "Hope and change" is now "grab your ankles." Do you realize yet that his campaign promises were never intended to be kept? They were designed to get him elected. Period. Well, it worked, didn't it? Now he's serving us a tall glass of amnesia Kool Aid and we are expected to drink up.
